Truck carrying cattle set on fire in J&K’s Hiranagar, nine animals rescued

Today(03-12-2018) at 1050 hrs, local(200/250) of village pathwal P/s hiranagar distt kathua burnt the truck of number no. Jk08AE -2637 at village pathwal near Ram leela ground in which 08/09 bovines were loaded in it which were being smuggled. Police was chasing the said truck from Gagwal and it was trapped at village pathwal where mob of the people burnt this truck.


Moreover, Approx 200/250 people of village pathwal under the leadership of Dev Dev Raj, president of Jan Kalyan samiti, hiranagar protesting and demanding action against the culprits who involved in bovine smuggling. SDPO border along with SHO Rajbagh and hiranagar on the spot. Protesters are not allowing vehicle of fire Brigade as well as police to distinguish the fire of truck.
