Chandigarh, September 9: The PCS Officers Association has decided to observe pen-down strike across Punjab on September 11.

The strike called by PCS officers on Monday was restricted only to Ferozepur and Faridkot. PCS officers have been demanding payment of arrears that have been pending because of paucity of funds.

Also, PCS officers are demanding AC cars and two gunmen each at their disposal. While Naib Tehsildars and Superintendents of Police get AC Boleros or Scorpios, PCS officers get non-AC Boleros.

Association general secretary Rajat Oberai told media that Chief Minister Amarinder Singh had promised to fulfil these demands, but it has yet to be done.
