Mohali: A fire broke out in a house at Phase 11 on Wednesday night. According to Kuldeep Singh, owner of the house, he suffered losses to the tune of Rs 7 lakh.
He said all members of the family were away at the time of the incident. “All furniture, utensils, refrigerator, washing machine, clothes and jewellery were damaged in the fire,” he claimed. According to local fire officials, short circuit could be the reason behind the incident.
