Sangrur, April 15:To teach micro-management to its halqa in-charge and all 13 candidates in Punjab, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and AAP’s Punjab affairs in-charge Manish Sisodia on Monday reached Sangrur.

He will preside over a meeting of the state leaders of the party here.“We do not have money like other parties; our workers are our strength. Through micro-management we have set a target of reaching 26 lakh families–two lakh in each constituency–till April 26. Our volunteers will share our policies, development works and the failures of the state government,” Sisodia said.

When asked whether the party is not getting the required funds like in the last election, Sisodia said though they had received funds, they were no match to those of the other parties.“We are getting funds, but we cannot match the other parties as they have ill-gotten money while we have only contribution made by our well-wishers,” said Sisodia.

Punjab party chief and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann, Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema, Deputy Leader of party Sarbjeet Kaur Manuke, and chairman of party’s campaign committee Aman Arora attended the meeting.

When asked about the allegations against him of misappropriating party funds, Mann said, “Some of our leaders have started levelling baseless allegations against me only at the instance of our political opponents. Why were they silent earlier? Had there been a wrongdoing on my part, they would have exposed me earlier.”

Cheema said the Punjab Congress had lost ground because of its failure in bringing any development to the state while SAD leaders were facing the flak owing to sacrilege incidents.
