New Delhi, March 19: The first meeting of the newly formed Haryana Congress coordination committee happened under the shadow of factionalism with senior MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi skipping the meeting.

AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad skirted the question of absence of Bishnoi from the meeting though state party chief Ashok Tanwar said Bishnoi may be busy.

The coordination committee decided to launch Haryana Congress campaign after Holi and also resolved to hold a meeting of party workers before the formal campaign launch.

The meeting was underway for an hour at AICC headquarters, under the chairmanship of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

All committee has 15 members, including Tanwar, CLP leader Kiran Choudhry, Rajya Sabha MP Kumari Selja and MLA Randeep Surjewala among others.

Azad today also ruled out any alliance with the AAP in Haryana, and said “there’s no scope of any alliance in the state”.

The coordination panel members will plan a bus travel across Haryana post Holi. Today was a preliminary meeting of the panel ahead of Lok Sabha polls.

Azad also said the party will win all the seats in the state.

Haryana has 10 LS seats.
