Ten injured in Shopian clashes, one suffers gunshot wound in neck

At least ten civilians were injured during clashes with the government forces in Ratnipora village of Shopian in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

Reports said that nine persons suffered pellet injuries while one was hit by bullet in his neck.

The injured were shifted to a nearby health facility where from three of them – one with gunshot wound and two with pellet injuries – were shifted to SMHS hospital for specialized treatment.

Clashes broke out earlier today soon after a gunfight broke out in Gadapora village of the district today morning in which at least one militant has been killed so far.
