Students of Govt. BHSS Sunderbani secured a spot in National Competition of NCSC at Ahmedabad

Rajpuri: Two students Aarush Dev and Ketan Kumar of Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Sunderbani from District Rajouri of Jammu Division secured a spot in National Level Competition of 30th National Chidren’s Science Congress to be held in Ahmedabad (Gujrat). Mr. Inderjeet and Mrs. Bharti Khanna Teachers acted as Guide Teachers for these young students for their project under the guidance of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Suri Principal of the school. Mr. Vikas Sharma a teacher of BHSS Sunderbani also provided full cooperation for the completion of the project. Total 48 child scientists made presentations at the state level (Jammu Division) and 7 of them were selected for national level Children’s Science Congress going to be held from January 27 to 31 at Ahmedabad Gujrat. The students were shortlisted at a District Level competition held at Rajouri under the able Guidance of Smt. Shailesh Kumari, worthy Chief Education Officer Rajouri. The programme is aimed at creating scientific temper among students from the school level and any other children with scientific ideas. The new child scientists, who are selected to represent Jammu Division at National level events will be the torch bearers who would inculcate scientific temperament and innovative idea through their projects and propagate scientific awareness in the society. The State Level Program for Jammu Division was organized by National Council for Rural and Urban Development Society Jammu under the guidance of Dr. Ashaq Hussain Chairman Organizing committee, Mr. Zaffarullah Khan State Coordinator NCSC-Jammu, Mr. Kuldeep Gupta State Academic Coordinator NCSC-Jammu, Mohd Ayaz Raina District Academic Coordinator NCSC and Ranjeet Kumar District

National Children Science Congress is a flagship program of NCSTC and Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India). The programme is aimed at creating scientific temper among students from the school level and any other children with scientific ideas. This 30th National Children Science Congress was organised in all Districts of Jammu Division with close support and coordination of School Education Department and about 300 projects were presented by child scientists at the district level.
