Doda, April 4 – PM Shri Govt. Higher Secondary School today demonstrated its commitment to environmental stewardship by organizing a successful Plantation Drive within its campus. The initiative, spearheaded by the school’s NCC Cadets (Junior Division) of 10 J&K BN NCC Bhaderwah, saw the planting of diverse ornamental indoor and outdoor plant species.
Under the guidance of Associate NCC Officer Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Koul and the leadership of Principal Shri Rajinder Singh Bhall, the enthusiastic cadets diligently planted and initially cared for the new saplings. The drive aimed to beautify the school grounds while simultaneously educating students about their crucial role in ecosystem preservation.
Principal Bhall lauded the cadets’ commitment and emphasized the educational value of the initiative, stating that it instilled in students the importance of “nurturing nature and protecting the environment for future generations.”
