An introductory meeting of officers of Schoool Education Department Jammu Division under the Chairmanship of Director School Education Jammu was held at Directorate of School Education Jammu.
The objective of the meeting was to interact with JDs and CEOs of the Jammu Division. A comprehensive review of Various Interventions / Components of School Education Department was conducted to assess the overall progress of Department across all the districts of Jammu Division..
During the meeting, Director School Education Jammu Stressed to ensure the academic excellence in Govt Schools. He also urged that the efforts should be made to implement all the recommendations of NEP2020 in stipulated time frame. He also highlighted the importance of experiential and inquiry-based learning and the role of technology in improving education.
Key discussions were held on the issues of related to Human Resource Management related to RETs, Contigent Paid Workers , Timely conduct of DPCs and One time exemption for officials acquired higher qualification without permission. Directions were issued for timely action / resolution on all these matters.
The Director emphasized that all the CEOs of Jammu Division shall must ensure the availability of all the Basic facilities like Drinking Water&Toilet,Electricity and other facilities in schools of their respective districts.
Other significant issues / points like teacher training, student performance, Court Cases, and the development of kindergartens were discussed.
The Director School Education, Jammu stressed the need to improve academic standards and ensure quality education for all students. The Chief Education Officers provided update about their districts, discussed the current status of schools, teachers, and students, along with challenges being faced by them in district.
The Director appreciated their efforts and encouraged them to continue working hard to strengthen the education system in Jammu Division.
