Rajouri, March 8: International Women’s Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm across various schools in District Rajouri, marked by a series of vibrant activities aimed at recognizing the pivotal role of women in society. The celebrations highlighted the significance of women’s empowerment and their contributions in various fields.

On this occasion, CEO Rajouri, Sh. Iqbal Hussain, conveyed his heartfelt greetings to women across the district. He emphasized the crucial role women play in shaping society, particularly in the field of education. He lauded their dedication, resilience, and commitment, which significantly contribute to the overall development of the nation. He further reiterated that empowering women is fundamental to achieving a more equitable and progressive society.

As part of the celebration, the District Administration felicitated several female employees of School Education Department for their outstanding performance and exemplary dedication at different levels. Those honored included Attia Shaheen, Principal GHSS Darhal, Ruksana Kouser, HOD DIET, Sofia Shaheen, HOD DIET, Sumeet Sudan, Lecturer HSS Chingus, Sunaina Hamid, Teacher MS Kheora, and Sonia, Teacher HS Sawni. Their commendable service and relentless efforts have set a benchmark in their respective institutions.

Various schools in the district organized debates, essay competitions, cultural performances, and awareness programs to celebrate the occasion.
