Poonch: It has become a tradition in the border district of Poonch for district administration to digest billions of rupees of funds in the name of cleanliness drives but reality is that Poonch town lacks cleanliness. According to the sources, the chairman of district development board Poonch and minister for Jammu and Kashmir tourism development Mr. Tasaduq Mufti is to visit Poonch. To throw sand in the eyes of Mr. Mufti, district administration Poonch has started to clean selected Poonch parks, roads and other buildings. Sources informed that, department of floriculture Poonch used their generator for the first time in Fawara garden Poonch on the occasion of minister’s visit. Locals have appealed to Mr Tasaduq Mufti look into the matter deeply and take necessary and strict action against district administration for such attitude.
