A scooty-rider died in a road accident in Chinner area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday, police said.
A police official said a Scooty (bearing registration number JK01E-9740) driven by Ghulam Hassan Sofi (40) was hit by a truck (registration number JK05B-3048) in Chinner today evening.
He said Sofi, a resident of Kharinaham area, died on the spot.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case in this regard, said the official.
