A teenage girl has been found dead under mysterious circumstances in Karol area of the district, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Simran Rakwal (15), daughter of Om Singh, a resident of Karol, District Ramban.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of District Hospital Ramban for autopsy, which will be conducted tomorrow.
Inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC have been initiated by Ramban Police to ascertain the reason behind the death.
