POONCH DECEMBER 14: The awareness programme in connection with the ongoing intensive publicity awareness campaign launched by Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in collaboration with district administration at GHSS, Chandak under SVEEP concluded here today.
On the occasion, Chief Education Officer, Mushtaq Ahmed was the chief guest while Principal of the school Vijay Puri was the guest of honour.
A large number of students, teachers besides prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
Experts from various departments including Muzafar Hussain lecturer DIET, Nazarat Fareed Lecturer GHSS Surankote and Imtaiz Ahmed Lecturer HSS Chandak said that everyone has the right to choose his government so those who are above 18 years should enroll themselves in the electoral rolls.
A quiz contest was also organized on SVEEP/Election on the occasion. Besides, a colourful cultural programme was presented by District Information Department and artists of Regional Outreach Bureau of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Later, the winners of the quiz contest and the Resource persons were honoured with gifts and momentoes by the chief guest.
