PULWAMA, NOVEMBER 15- Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) and Hospital Development Fund (HDF) committees of Pulwama today convened a meeting here at District Hospital.
Medical Superintendent (MS) District Hospital Pulwama whose is also the member Secretary of these committees gave a power point presentation on many innovative measures adopted by the hospital for better patient care.
The Secretary also apprised the members that hospital in future requires the night shelter facility, patient registration centre and modern laparoscopy facility.
The MS presented the agenda, before members, which was approved after deliberations.
The members were satisfied with the facilities being provided by the hospital and complemented the doctors and paramedics for the discipline and dedication exhibited by them especially during the unrest of 2016 and 2017. The members impressed upon hospital administration that many more facilities in future should be created that will minimize referrals to other hospitals.
The Medical Superintendent thanked the members for their participation and approval of agenda meeting.
Under the National Health Mission, RKSs are envisaged to be constituted at public health facilities at the level of Primary Health Centres (PHC) and above including Community Health Centres (CHCs) and District Hospitals.
