DODA, JULY 18: Deputy Commissioner, Simrandeep Singh today reviewed the progress registered under flagship schemes of Rural Development sector here at a meeting of the officers of the Department.
The DC reviewed the progress under MGNREGA, PMAY, SBM, 13th/14th FC, CD Panchayat, SAGY, MPLADS, CDF, Panchayat Ghars and convergence plan being implemented by RDD in the district.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Mohammad Hanief Malik, ACD Angrez Singh, Xen PMGSY besides all the BDOs.
The DC reviewed block and panchayat wise performance under PMAY and set timeline for completion of the pending works. He directed the department to expedite the pace of developmental works for timeline achievement of the fixed targets. He also took stock of physical and financial achievements under schemes of SBM and MGNREGA.
The DC asked the BDOs to ensure that works being executed on ground conform to quality and quantity parameters.
Earlier, ACD briefed about the progress under the SBM. The meeting held detailed discussions on various issues like MIS and Geo Tagging under SBM, ODF of panchayats, status of IHHL units and achievements made under the sanitation scheme.
