We in Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua believe in celebrating all major festivals to help children understand the cultural diversity of India and teach them to be open minded and secular towards every religion and community. Celebrating multifarious cultures and festivals symbolizes the unity of an international community which Jammu Sanskriti takes pride in. Saplings of school celebrated Eid with lot of enthusiasm and energy.
Many activities were conducted related to it. Children were taught about why and how Eid is celebrated. On this day Muslims pray in the mosque. Our little Sanskritians celebrated eid by hugging each other and wishing “Eid Mubarak”. Eid is all about sharing love and affection. We were happy to see the bonding of children with their friends and teachers as they wished each other “Eid Mubarak”.
Eid is the festival of prayers, joy, happiness and brotherhood. At Jammu Sanskriti, Eid was celebrated with great fervor and excitement. The children are encouraged to participate in the celebration o learn and understand the different cultures and respect them. Celebrating different religious festivals build a sense of love and acceptance to various forms of worship.
Ramzana of class 8th and Mushtaq (Urdu Teacher) present their views on this occasion and also a beautiful qwali is sung by the students.
Principal Ms. Shuchita Gupta in her address highlighted that all festivals of our nation are equally important and we should celebrate them. All our efforts should be for the development of unity. As in Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua we celebrate each and every festival. She further motivated them that we should wish Eid Mubarak to each and every person.
