POONCH, AUGUST 21: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav, today directed the concerned BDOs to identify a village in their respective blocks that can be developed as ‘Cashless Village’.
The DDC was speaking at a meeting held here. The meeting was attended by ACD Mukhtyar Ahmed Sheikh, Lead District Manager J&K Bank Poonch, DPOs, BDOs and other concerned officials.
The DDC asked the concerned officers that the process of developing cashless village shall be carried forward as per the directions of Principal Secretary Finance.
He further directed the concerned officials to install POS machines and distribute credit cards and other cashless facilities.
