Expressing anguish over the killing of two policemen in south Kashmir on Wednesday, Director General of Police (DGP) SP Vaid said both had ignored advisory against going home unprotected.
Vaid also said the BJP activist who was abducted and killed by suspected militants had gone home without his personal security officer.
“…both had ignored the advisory issued time and again asking policemen not to go home without seeking permission and unprotected,” he said.
He also termed the killings of the policemen unfortunate.
