REASI, DECEMBER 22: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Dr Sagar Dattatray Doifode, today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements for Republic Day-2019 celebrations in the district.
SSP Reasi, Nisha Nathyal, ADDC Reasi, Ramesh Chander, ADC Reasi, Rajinder Sharma, ACR Reasi, Harbans Sharma, Tehsildars and district officers of various departments besides officials from military and paramilitary forces also attended the meeting.
In the meeting, district officers briefed the DC about their preparations for the National event. Officials from military and paramilitary forces also briefed the DC about their preparations for the Republic day celebrations.
The DC asked departments to showcase their tableaus at the Republic Day parade. He also asked them to name outstanding personalities of the district to be felicitated on the Day.
Arrangements for seating, safety measures, ground preparation and emergency services were also discussed in the meeting.
The DC directed the concerned officers to put in place all arrangements well in time for the successful celebration of the Republic Day.
