A gunfight broke out between militants and the government forces in Arwani area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports said that the gunfight broke out after forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Arwani.
They said that several militants are believed to be trapped by the forces.
Earlier, police said that an exchange of fire took place in Arwani.
