MENDHAR, JUNE 26: Javed Ahmed Rana, National Conference legislator from Mendhar Assembly segment has provided ₹41 lacs out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for utilisation in Public Health Engineering (PHE) sector.
The MLA provided a portion of his CDF to tide over the problem of water supply in water scarce areas of Mendhar Sub-Division.
A portion of the CDF is to be utilized for purchase of 3 water tankers to ensure round the clock tanker service to worst affected areas due to interruption in water supply.
The remaining amount is to be utilised for replacement of worn-out pipes in Mendhar town, which has severely affected the quality of drinking water in the town.
DDC Poonch released the funds to the tune of ₹41 lacs provided by Mr. Rana out of his CDF and placed it at the disposal of Executive Engineer PHE Poonch for immediate utilisation in Mendhar Assembly Constituency, for the purpose desired by the MLA.
