Srinagar, Sep 28: Security Forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on Friday in North Kashmir’s Bandipora Village.
An official said that 27 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint search operation following a tip off about the presence of militants at village Onagam of Bandipora.
Local reports said that all entry and exit points are sealed in the area while public movement also stopped.
Door to door search operation in the area was on when last reports came in.
