SAMBA, NOVEMBER 28: ICDS Project Samba today organized ladliBetiDiwas celebration under BetiBachaoBetiPadhao campaign.
District Programme Officer, Jyoti Rani Salathia, was the chief guest on the occasion.
During the programme, LadliBeti Pass Books were distributed among the beneficiaries of LadliBeti Scheme alongwith Gift Packs.
On the occasion, educative cultural programmes including Gayatri Mantra by government Middle School Kehli Mandi, Poems, Skits, NukkadNatak on the theme of BetiBachaoBetiPadhao were presented.
Jyoti Slathia encouraged the gathering to make all out efforts to change the mindset in the society towards girl child. She asked them to carry forward the message of gender equality.
District Social Welfare Officer, Abdul Rahim, Chairman MC Samba, Pawan Kohli, Vice Chairman MC Samba, Kaber Singh, Kamla Devi, Child Development Project Officer Samba and Braham Kumari sisters were present on the occasion.
