KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 28: District Information Centre in collaboration with DIET Kishtwar organizes District Level Role Play and folk-dance Competition on Adolescence Education here today.
The themes for National Role Play Competition included Healthy Relationship among Adolescence, HIV/AIDS: “Stigmatization” and vulnerability of adolescents, Causes and impact of drug abuse. Besides, folk dance competition with themes like equal opportunity for boys and girls, removal of female foetecide, respect and care for elders, protection of environment, drug abuse, charms and challenges of Adolescence etc was also organized on the occasion.
CEO Kishtwar, Tariq Hussain, who was the chief guest on the occasion, delivered informative lecture on the subject.
Principal DIET, Ashok Kumar, DYSSO, Dewan Thakur and District Coordinator, Mehboob Qazi dwelt on various aspects of the important topic.
Later, prize distribution ceremony was held in which the students were awarded by the chief guest.
Among others present during the occasion, District Coordinator Mehoob Ahmed Qazi, staff of cultural cell and Information department, students besides adjudicators of the competition participated in the programme.
