Terrorists on Wednesday night abducted son of a policeman in Tral town of this south Kashmir district.
Sources said that the group of suspected terrorists barged into the house of policeman Rafiq Ahmad Rather and abducted his son Asif Rafiq Rather at Pinglish. Rafiq is currently posted in Srinagar and his abducted son is a B.SC Agriculture student.
Rather is a student of SK University of agricultural sciences and technology (SKUAST), Srinagar. His father is posted in CID headquarters Srinagar.
Meanwhile, police have launched a search operation to trace the missing cop’s son.
