SAMBA JULY 30: District Development Commissioner Samba, Sushma Chauhan,today reviewed preparedness for Swachh Survekshan- (Sanitation Survey) here at a meeting of line departments.
The DDC directed the concerned to ensure cleanness in towns, along National Highways, Hospitals, Schools, AWCs, villages. She stressed upon them to mobilize field functionaries to achieve desired level of sanitation and cleanness in all the towns and villages of the district.
For achieving effective results, the DDC directed for organizing awareness camps in the villages,
Anganwadi centres, Health institutions and educational institutions in consultation with ICDS, Health, Rural Development departments, education
department and village level local representatives.
She directed all the departments to ensure sustainability of the measures taken under SBM and other sanitation schemes. She asked the officers to sensitize their field functionaries and educate the people about the goals of SBM.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Pankaj Magotra , PO ICDS,ACD,CMO, CEO,DPO, BDOs, Xen PHE,EOs Municipalities and other concerned officials of the district.
