RAJOURI, DECEMBER 31: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today inaugurated Attendant Hall and J&K Bank ATM at District Hospital Rajouri.
The inauguration was done in presence of J&K Bank DGM MohdShaadiSalroo, Lead District Manager, Sunil Sharma, Medical Superintendent Mehmood Hussain Bajar, Cheif Manager Sanjeev Dutta and all the branch heads from different JK Bank Branches.
While inaugurating the ATM, the DDC said providing the ATM facility to the people of the area in general and for the patients and their attendants in Particular is an important facility at the Hospital.
DDC said with the commissioning of the ATM within the district Hospital premises will serve and benefit a large number of employees besides the unending stream of attendants who mostly need cash to purchase medicines.
Highlighting the importance of banking services, the DDC said financial institutions play a vital role in the socio-economic transformation of the people, particularly in rural areas. He advised the bank authorities for providing hassle-free loans to unemployed youth of the area for setting up their own income generating units.
Meanwhile, DDC also dedicated an attendant Hall to the attendants of the patients. The shed was constructed by JK Bank under corporate social responsibility. The shed was constructed at an estimated cost of 7.00 lakh.
