JAMMU: The Jammu- Srinagar national highway was closed for traffic on Saturday after a fresh landslide near Pantiyal in Ramban district of Jammu.
Earlier, traffic was allowed to ply from Jammu to Srinagar on the highway despite fresh snowfall and rains.
An official said that hundreds of vehicles were left stranded on the highway following the landslides.
The weatherman has predicted moderate rain or snow on higher reaches till Sunday evening.
