BUDGAM, JANUARY 04: A camp was today organized in DSWO Budgam to commemorate International Louis Braille Day wherein a large number of visually impaired persons and others participated.
A team of Medical specialist from District Hospital Budgam were also present and conducted medical checkups of all blind persons present in the camp and necessary advises were provided to the patients. DSWO Budgam, Akeel Ahmad Pandit, BMO Budgam and other officers and officials threw light on the importance of the day and paid glowing tributes to Louis Braille for having contributed greatly in the service of visually impaired.
