KARGIL, JANUARY 04: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal today reviewed the functioning of Revenue Department here at a meeting of concerned senior functionaries.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Shakar Chiktan Ghulam Mehdi, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
The DC took review of the preparation of Jamabandies, Girdawaries, attestations of pending mutations, record position of revenue targets, revenue court cases, attestations of the mutations of lands and other related issues.
Several other issues pertaining to Public Service Guarantee Act, digitization of land records, installation of ground control points, statements of PRC/ST/Income certificates also came up for discussion.
The Deputy Commissioner impressed upon the revenue officers to work with added zeal and enthusiasm to ensure more efficient functioning of the department in the district. He said that this assumes greater significance for timely grievance redressal of the people so that they are provided with satisfactory services without fail.
The DC while stressing the need to achieve the set administrative targets in the sector in a timely manner instructed the officers to conduct special camps in their respective jurisdictions in order to clear the pending cases.
The DC also directed the officers to tour their respective areas periodically for redressal of the grievances of the general public with regard to revenue related matters.
