DDC Kulgam reviews functioning of revenue department
KULGAM, JUNE 08: District Development Commissioner Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad Wani today reviewed the functioning of Revenue Department and discussed revenue related matters here at a meeting of concerned officers.
Discussion was held pertaining to the matters like preparation of Jamabandis, writing of registrar Khasra Girdawaris, progress on account of attestation of mutations, progress of removal of encroachments from State/Kahcharie.
The DDC directed the revenue officers to ensure redress of public grievances and completion of all pending works, besides writing of Jamabandis and Girdawaris.
The DDC also reviewed the progress on the removal of encroachments on State/Kahcharie/common land.
He directed for keeping strict vigil to prevent all types of encroachments.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kulgam, Mir Imtiyaz ul Aziz, Tehsildar Kulgam, All Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars and Pathwaris
