AWANTIPORA, MAY 28: Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora, Ashraf Hakak today convened a meeting to review arrangements for Jumat- ul-Vida, Shab-I-Qadar and Eid Ul Fitr.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Awantipora and Tehsildar Pampore, Assistant Executive Engineer PDD Awantipora and Pampore. Assistant Executive Engineer PHE Pampore and Awantipora, Executive Officer Municipal Committee Pampore, Awantipora and Khrew and Tehsil Supply Officer Pampore, Khrew, Awantipora and Noorpora and other concerned.
The meeting discussed the arrangements to be put in place by the respective departments for the convenience of the people.
FCS&CA department was directed to ensure availability of essential commodities including rice, atta, k-oil and LPG. The PDD and PHE department were asked to ensure uninterrupted power and portable water supply in all the areas. The officials of Municipal Committees were asked to ensure cleanliness/ sanitation in and around Mosques, streets and Eid Gahs.
Tehsildars were asked to carry out extensive market check to keep a check on profiteering, hoarding, and black marketing. Health department was directed ensure provision of health care facilities while as Animal Husbandry department is to keep sufficient stock of Poultry available at sale centers.
