DODA: The NCC Cadets (Junior Division) of PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary School Bhalra, Bhaderwah today organised a compelling awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, supported by 10 J&K BN NCC, Bhaderwah.
The initiative aimed to educate and sensitise students about the detrimental effects of drug abuse through engaging activities. A Poster/Drawing Making Competition and a Debate Competition saw enthusiastic participation from cadets and students, who conveyed powerful messages through their artwork and articulate arguments.
Key participants including Aryaveer Kotwal, Rettish Kumar, Vikas Kotwal, Kush Kumar, and Mohd Aayat demonstrated remarkable commitment and creativity, earning high praise from the attendees.
The event was graced by the presence of staff members Dr. Nitan Singh Kotwal (Teacher) and Mr. Om Parkash (Senior Lecturer), who commended the cadets for their energetic and impactful contributions. Participants were also provided with refreshments.
The programme culminated with the cadets proudly singing the NCC Song and resonantly raising slogans advocating for a Drug-Free India.
The entire event was meticulously organised by Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Koul (Associate NCC Officer & Zonal Cultural and Counseling Incharge), under the guidance of Mr. Irshad Ahmed (In-charge Principal) and the overall supervision of the esteemed Principal, Mr. Satish Kumar.
