Srinagar, October 4. The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (J&K BOSE) released the date-sheet for the Class 10th Annual Regular exams for the October-November 2025 session on Saturday.
The examinations will commence on November 3, running from 11 am to 2 pm. Nearly 95,000 students from the Kashmir Division and the winter zone of the Jammu Division, including those from the Ladakh Union Territory, will take part in the exams, which the Government has reinstated to the October-November session.
According to the date-sheet, the exams will begin with Mathematics on November 3, followed by Social Science on November 7.
The Science examination is scheduled for November 11, while the English paper will take place on November 14.
The Urdu/Hindi papers are set for November 17, and vocational subjects will be took place on November 21, with the Computer Science paper scheduled for November 19.
The examinations will conclude on November 27, with Painting/Art and Drawing subjects scheduled for that day. Additionally, subjects with fewer candidates, such as Home Science on November 23, Music on November 25, and optional subjects including Kashmiri, Dogri, Bhoti, Punjabi, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Persian, and Sanskrit, are scheduled for November 24.
In light of the disruptions to the academic calendar caused by heat waves, heavy rains, cloudbursts, and floods, J&K BOSE has granted a 15% concession, equating an attempt of 85% marks to 100%.
The J&K BOSE has encouraged students to prepare diligently for the examinations while reaffirming its commitment to conducting the exams with high standards of transparency.
The BOSE has urged the invigilatory staff to maintain professionalism in their duties to uphold the integrity and purity of the examinations and has requested the SED to extend cordial support.
