Doda, April 11, 2025 – The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Doda, in collaboration with the Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC), Bhaderwah, today successfully organized a crucial Awareness Camp on the Rights, Care, and Protection of Children at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Dradhu, Zone Bhalla, Doda.
The initiative, held under the proactive supervision of GHSS Dradhu Principal, Sh. Satish Kumar, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and members of the local community. The camp was designed to educate attendees on the legal rights of children, emphasize the significance of their care, and detail the protective measures available under the law.
Legal experts and resource persons from both the DLSA and TLSC addressed the gathering, underscoring the vital role of legal awareness in fostering a secure and supportive environment for children. Key provisions of significant legislation such as the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act were highlighted and explained in detail.
