DODA, July 16 – Mr. Shabr Ishaq Zargar, Incharge Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Ghat, today conducted unannounced visits to several schools within Zone Ghat. The inspections aimed to comprehensively assess the academic and administrative operations of these educational institutions.

During his visits, Mr. Zargar thoroughly reviewed UPS Dudhote, PS Bari, PS Arnora, and HS Bhabore. His primary objectives were to evaluate the teaching-learning processes, verify the attendance of both staff and students, and observe the overall school environment.

At each school, Mr. Zargar engaged directly with teaching staff and students. He meticulously reviewed classwork, inspected student notebooks, and verified the proper implementation of the Mid-Day Meal Scheme. He confirmed that meals were being served according to the prescribed menu and maintained appropriate hygiene standards.

The ZEO also paid close attention to the schools’ infrastructure, examining classroom conditions, the availability of drinking water, sanitation facilities, and the general cleanliness and maintenance of the premises. Additionally, he assessed the accessibility and resource support provided to the schools.

Mr. Zargar commended schools demonstrating positive practices and urged all Heads of Institutions (HOIs) to remain committed to upholding discipline, ensuring consistent attendance, and cultivating a robust culture of learning and responsibility.

Underscoring the critical importance of quality education, Mr. Zargar encouraged teachers to embrace modern and inclusive teaching methodologies, actively involve students in their learning, and dedicate themselves fully to the academic and moral development of the students.
