Basohli: In a heartfelt gesture of admiration and gratitude, the Worthy Zonal Education Officer Basohli Sh. Vijay Kumar ji, in collaboration with Worthy DIET Principal (Incharge) Sh. Jai Paul ji, Worthy Principal Model Higher Secondary School Basohli Sh. Brijbhushan Sharma ji, and the dedicated teaching fraternity of Zone Basohli, organized a grand celebration to mark the superannuation and birthday of the Worthy Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kathua, Shri Mangat Ram Sharma Ji.
The event, held at DIET Basohli, was graced by teachers and officials from the education department, who gathered and appreciate to Shri Sharma Ji’s outstanding service and unwavering dedication to the cause of education in Kathua district.
In his address, ZEO Basohli lauded Shri Mangat Ram Sharma Ji as a visionary Man whose tireless efforts brought significant reforms and improvements in the educational framework of the region. “Your leadership has inspired a culture of excellence and inclusivity in our schools. You have been a mentor and a beacon of hope for educators and students alike,” the ZEO remarked.
Speakers from DIET Basohli and MHSS Basohli also shared their experiences and extended warm wishes for a joyful and fulfilling retired life.
Shri Mangat Ram Sharma Ji, visibly moved by the overwhelming gesture, expressed his gratitude to the organizers and reiterated his lifelong commitment to the betterment of education. “Though I retire from official duties, my journey with education continues,” he said.
The program concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate Shri Mangat Ram Sharma Ji’s birthday, followed by a vote of thanks.
