Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, numerous transformative initiatives have been introduced to uplift women — from education and entrepreneurship to start-ups and space missions.

“In the last 11 years, PM Modi has democratized opportunities. Today, girls from even remote areas like Kishtwar and Rajouri are becoming IAS officers. The government has created an environment where dedication and hard work alone can lead to success,” he said.

The Minister further shared that out of 1.75 lakh start-ups, around 60,000 are women-led, and 68% of Mudra loans have been availed by women — a strong testament to the growing confidence and self-reliance of Indian women.

On this festive occasion of Diwali, Dr. Singh said,“There could be no better gift for meritorious girl students than a laptop to help them chase their dreams.”
