With the directions of worthy Principal mam Ms Aneeta koul, vice – Principal Ms Deepmala, Members of Eco club ,and Project Officials from Forest department,Under the banner “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, plantation drive was organized today in the school premises .
Nearly 15 saplings of various tree species were planted by Worthy Principal mam, enthusiastic students and faculty members.
An awareness session on Mission LiFE was started by Dr. Sapana Sharma, Lect. Environmental science, Dr. Kirti , Program Officer, explained the seven key themes of Mission LiFE to all participants, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly living.
Along with faculty members, a total of 50 students, were present in this green initiative. Worthy Principal mam Ms Aneeta koul shared various informative and real life examples to aware the students about green life.
Event was concluded by distribution of Cloth bags and informative pamphlets to encourage the reduction of plastic usage.
