Govt. HSS Nagri Parole Celebrates “NEP Utsav 2025” to Mark Five Transformative Years of NEP 2020

In a spirited celebration of the 5th anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Government Higher Secondary School, Nagri Parole launched a week-long series of events under the banner “NEP Utsav 2025” from 29th July to 2nd August 2025.


The festivities began with “Community Involvement Day” on 29th July, setting a powerful tone for the coming days. The day witnessed the active participation of Anganwadi workers, social workers, School Management Committee (SMC) members, local Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) representatives, and other esteemed members of the local community.

The focus was on promoting community collaboration to improve educational outcomes and foster socio-emotional wellbeing, particularly for Children With Special Needs (CWSN).
A massive plantation drive was also carried out as part of the school’s green initiative and EK PED MAA K NAM campaign emphasizing environmental sustainability—a key component of holistic education under NEP 2020.


The event commenced with an inaugural session led by the Principal, Sh. Jatinder Sethi, who elaborated on the vision, mission, and key features of NEP 2020. He stressed the role of schools as community centers for learning, growth, and holistic development. Sh. Ravinder Singh conducted the proceedings of the event and delivered a thoughtful presentation on the transformative journey of NEP over the past five years, highlighting major reforms and achievements in the school education sector. Smt Kumud Vashisht and Smt. Jiwan Jyoti, anganwari worker also speak on the occasion.


The day’s events reflected the school’s commitment to implementing NEP 2020 in its true spirit by building a collaborative ecosystem involving all stakeholders.
