Budhi: As part of the ongoing NEP Utsav celebrations, Government Higher Secondary School Budhi hosted an invigorating Sports Day on 31st July 2025 under the thoughtful supervision of the Vice Principal, Sh. Baldev Singh Ji. The event sought to highlight the pivotal role of sports and physical fitness in the holistic development of students, in keeping with the spirit of the National Education Policy.

What made the day truly heartening was the active participation of Children With Special Needs (CWSN), who competed with zeal and confidence, drawing well-deserved applause and admiration from all present. Their inclusion brought alive the essence of equity, inclusion, and dignity—values that lie at the core of both education and sport.

On this occasion, inspirational talks were delivered by educators Mr. Dheeraj Sharma and Mr. Adarsh Paul, who spoke eloquently about how sports nurture not just the body, but also character, discipline, and resilience in young learners.

The playground turned into a canvas of youthful energy and cheerful competition as students engaged in a variety of games. Each match was not merely about winning, but about teamwork, discipline, and a celebration of healthy living—lessons far more enduring than any trophy.

The school staff and student body reaffirmed their commitment to fostering an environment where every child—regardless of ability—is encouraged to run, play, and grow.
