RAMBAN, Aug 11: All Tribal Coordination Committee (ATCC) staged a protest against the arrest of Talib Hussain who was the prime campaigner of Kautha rape and murder case and justice for Mufrad Shah, here today.
The protesting members were holding banners and placards and were shouting slogans in demanded justice of Talib Hussain and Mufrad Shah.
ATCC members assembled in the in Maitra Chowk and took out protest rally towards Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office and demanded the immediate release of Talib Hussain, saying that he was booked under a fake charge.
ATCC member Farooq Choudhary said that the Talib after being arrested was thrashed by the locals in the Police Station.
“We appeal to the Governor N N Vohra to intervene into the matter and deliver justice to Advocate Talib Hussain,” he said.
The protesters also condemned the thrashing of Talib Hussain in the custody.
Protestors also condemned the killing of Murfad Shah and demanded for justice.
They said that it is cold blooded murder and the culprit should be punished for killing the innocent people across the state.
