Life returns to normal in Tral

Srinagar, Aug 11: Life returned to normal on Saturday, after remaining crippled due to strike on Friday against arrest of youths during raids at different places for the past couple of days in Tral town and adjoining areas in south Kashmir district of Pulwama by Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police.

Shops and business establishments are open and traffic was plying on all roads in Tral. Work in government offices was also normal while educational institutions are also functioning normally.

People who are protesting alleged that SOG conducted raids, particularly during night, for the past few days in the town and adjoining areas and arrested 11 youths. Demanding their immediate release, they threatened to intensify their agitation.
