Anantnag, September 10:A Capacity building tour for 20 students from various government schools in district Anantnag was flagged off from Army Camp at Anantnag High Ground today on 10th September 2018 at 07.30 AM.
The tour comprises a visit to National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune, Gateway of India anx Naval Dockyard Mumbai.
Apart from this the tour focuses on Cultural orientation and Educational awareness for these children in and around Mumbai-Pune.
The children will travel by train till Pune which in itself is an experience of its own kind for the children in the group who have never been on a train.
The tour, which started today will conclude on 21st of September .
Children were excited about the trip and told that they are thankful to Army to give them such an opportunity to see two important cities of our nation.
