Student staged a protest on the campus of Kashmir University (KU) on Thursday against the killng of a civilian during a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Qamarwari area of Srinagar.
The students from various departments came out of their classes and assembled in the premises of Humanities department to protest the killing of Muhammad Saleem Malik in Noorbagh area of Qamarwari.
The protesting students raised slogans and demanded an end to civilian killings.
An official at Kashmir University confirmed that the students were protesting in the campus against the killing of a civilian.
