Jammu, Oct 2: A woman was axed to death by her husband in a village in Majalta belt of Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A lady identified as Ditu Devi (23), resident of Shellian, Ramkot, Kathua was murdered by her husband Yash Pal at their residence in Shahpur, Bharnara area of Majalta on Monday,” police here said.
“The couple had a scuffle over some issue following which the man axed her,” police said.
They said that the accused has been arrested, while a case is registered and investigation has started.
