SAMBA, NOVEMBER 28: District Election Officer, Sushma Chauhan, today had a meeting with the concerned officers to review election preparedness for Panchayat Polls in the district.
Chauhan reviewed the security plan, communication plan, transport plan, management of ballot boxes, complaint redressal mechanism, election material distribution plan.
During the meeting, Zonal Magistrates, Sectoral Magistrates and officers from Police were asked to maintain a close coordination for smooth and successful conduct of the elections.
She exhorted upon the officers to put in place all necessary requirement in time so that the Panchayat Elections can be carried out successfully.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Arun Manhas, SSP, Dr. Koushal Kumar Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kulbhushan Khajuria, Programme Officer ICDS, Jyoti Rani Salathia, Additional Superintendent Police, Faisal Qureshi, SDM Ghagwal, RituMahajn SDM Vijaypur, Vijay Kumar Tehsildars, besides RO’S, ARO’S and officers from Police Department were present on the occasion.
