POONCH, NOVEMBER 28: Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma, today visited the district and reviewed the status of Special Summary Revision in a meeting held with the EROs, AEROs and BLOs.
IG Jammu Dr S D Singh, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Yadav, EROs Haveli, Mendhar and Surankote along with all BLOs were present in the meeting.
The Div Com, while chairing meeting, reviewed the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls in the district. He directed the ERO’s and BLOs for speedy inclusion, correction and deletion of names in the Electoral Rolls. He also had detailed discussion with the concerned officers with regard to the functioning of ERO-NET.
Later, the Div Com convened a meeting with the district officers and reviewed the status of various development works. He took stock of working of Receiving Stations in Poonch, Toilet facilities in schools, shortage of doctors, New Bus Stand, expansion of GDC, Community Bunkers and PHC etc. He also took stock of construction work on Mandi-Fagla road, Bufliaz-Murrah road, Arai Road and Sakhi Maidan road.
Div Com asked the DC to expedite the process for establishment of K V schools in the district.
ADDC, ADC, CPO, ACR, ACD, CMO, CEO, Chief Engineer PWD, SE PWD, Executive Engineers of Executing agencies besides other district officers attended the meeting.
