DODA, NOVEMBER 28: District Panchayat Election Officer, Anshul Garg, convened a meeting with the Sectoral and Zonal Magistrates here today regarding conduct of 5th phase of Panchayat elections in Assar, Marmat and Khellani blocks of the district scheduled to be held tomorrow.
The DPEO had a thorough discussion with regard to all necessary arrangements for the elections including deployment of poll staff, transportation of polling material, heating and lighting arrangements, security arrangements at polling stations besides other requisite arrangements.
He stressed upon the need of close coordination among police and civil officers to ensure smooth and successful conduct of these important elections to the local bodies.
The Police Officers were asked to ensure proper communication is maintained at all polling stations so as to keep track on law and order situation.
Deputy Election Officer Haroon Rashid Naik conducted interactive session with the officers.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohd Hanief Malik, SP Operation, Ravinder Paul Singh, ASP Rajinder, Deputy District Election Officer Haroon Naik, Dy SP Iftikhar Ahmad, Sectoral and Zonal Magistrates, Sectoral and Zonal Officers of Police besides other concerned officers of the Civil and Police administration were present in the meeting.
